Ajax stands for Asynchronous JavaScript & XML
Ajax isn’t a technology. It’s really several technologies (1)
Ajax is some mean make the web page so dynamic with less number whole page refreshment
It utilize the client side script which here is JavaScript and also XMLHttpRequest for reducing the overhead of repeating page reloading ,It's so useful in such services which depend in alot of page change request like email servers , archived sites and groups etc
Advantages
Less overhead to webserver
Distribute and share some processing to the client computer
Better viewing as the page refreshed when the data is complete
Protecting html contents as the page can't be saved as it view
The ability to make complicated application over the web with performance-like desktop applications
Disadvantages
The code is opened to viewers
The vulnerability to bruteforce attack

These disadvantages can be bypass by many ways

As Ajax is relatively new technology ,it didn't come in alot of sites but it comes in some vital sites to most of us
1- Gmail it's the most vital example to us it's soo fast relatively to others compare Gmail standard intefrface with basic interface and you will know the difference
2- Flickr just see it and you will know the difference
3-Google suggest when you use it you wonder who think in this idea rather than who implement it
4-Google maps you feel that you have the whole world in your browser

As we say Ajax heavily depend in client side script

The first example has retrieved text file from the server and embed it into

The HTML page

Our current example will retrieve data from XML file (pure static file)

The most advantage for using XML is the structure is organized well hence we can put multiple data and retrieve each one in different location

We mention again that

server side response can be static or dynamic

server side response can be text or xml

If it is text you can insert it directly into your code

If it was XML you need to select what you need from the XML to insert into the page

If the response got from Dynamic like PHP , JSP or ASP

You will change the type of send (GET or POST )

And the parameters which will be passed to the server side script

قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: سَمِعْتُ البُخَارِيَّ يَقُوْلُ: دَخَلْتُ بَغْدَادَ آخِرَ ثَمَانِ مَرَّاتٍ، فِي كُلِّ ذَلِكَ أُجَالِسُ أَحْمَدَ بنَ حَنْبَلٍ، فَقَالَ لِي فِي آخِرِ مَا وَدَّعْتُهُ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، تدعُ العِلْمَ وَالنَّاسَ، وَتصِيرُ إِلَى خُرَاسَانَ؟! قَالَ: فَأَنَا الآنَ أَذْكُرُ قَوْلَهُ.
قال عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بنَ مُحَمَّدٍ البُخَارِيَّ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يَقُوْلُ: لَقِيْتُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَلفِ رَجُلٍ من أَهْلِ الحِجَازِ وَالعِرَاقِ وَالشَّامِ وَمِصْرَ، لَقِيتُهُم كَرَّاتٍ،

وَقَالَ خَلَفٌ الخيَّامُ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ بنَ مَعْقِلٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُوْلُ: كُنْتُ عندَ إِسْحَاقَ بنِ رَاهْوَيْه، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا: لَوْ جمعتُم كِتَاباً مختصِراً لسُنَنِ النَّبِيِّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- فَوَقَعَ ذَلِكَ فِي قَلبِي، فَأَخذتُ فِي جمعِ هَذَا الكِتَابِ.
قالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ: مَا وضعتُ فِي كِتَابِي (الصَّحِيْحِ) حَدِيْثاً إِلاَّ اغتسلتُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَصَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ.
قال إِبْرَاهِيْمَ بنَ مَعْقِلٍ، سَمِعْتُ البُخَارِيَّ يَقُوْلُ: مَا أَدخلتُ فِي هَذَا الكِتَابِ إِلاَّ مَا صَحَّ، وَتركتُ مِنَ الصِّحَاحِ كِي لاَ يطولَ الكِتَابُ.
وكان البُخَارِيَّ يَقُوْلُ: صنّفْتُ (الصَّحِيْحَ) فِي سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، وَجَعَلتُهُ حُجَّةً فِيْمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الله تَعَالَى.

وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ الوَرَّاقُ: سَمِعْتُ حَاشِدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ وَآخَرَ يَقُوْلاَنِ: كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ البُخَارِيُّ يَخْتلِفُ مَعَنَا إِلَى مَشَايِخِ البَصْرَةِ وَهُوَ غُلاَمٌ، فَلاَ يَكْتُبُ، حَتَّى أَتَى عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَيَّامٍ، فكنَّا نَقُوْل لَهُ: إِنَّك تختلفُ معنَا ولاَ تَكْتُبُ، فَمَا تصنَعُ؟
فَقَالَ لَنَا يَوْماً بَعْد ستَّةَ عشرَ يَوْماً: إِنَّكمَا قَدْ أَكْثَرْتُمَا عَلَيَّ وَأَلْححتُمَا، فَاعْرِضَا عَلَيَّ مَا كَتَبْتُمَا.
فَأَخْرجْنَا إِلَيْهِ مَا كَانَ عِنْدنَا، فَزَادَ عَلَى خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ أَلفِ حَدِيْثٍ، فَقرأَهَا كُلَّهَا عَنْ ظَهرِ القَلْبِ، حَتَّى جَعَلنَا نُحْكِمُ كُتُبَنَا مِنْ حِفْظِهِ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَتَرَوْنَ أَنِّي أَختلِفُ هَدْراً، وَأُضَيِّعُ أَيَّامِي؟! فَعَرفْنَا أَنَّهُ لاَ يتقدَّمُهُ أَحَدٌ.
قال مُحَمَّدُ بنُ يُوْسُفَ البُخَارِيُّ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ بِمَنْزِلِهِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، فَأَحصيتُ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ قَامَ وَأَسْرَجَ يَسْتَذكرُ أَشْيَاءَ يُعَلِّقُهَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ مرَّة.
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ الوَرَّاقُ: كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، إِذَا كُنْتُ مَعَهُ فِي سفرٍ، يَجْمَعُنَا بَيْتٌ وَاحِدٌ إِلاَّ فِي القيظِ أَحْيَاناً، فَكُنْتُ أَرَاهُ يقومُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ مرَّة إِلَى عِشْرِيْنَ مرَّة، فِي كُلِّ ذَلِكَ يَأْخُذُ القَدَّاحَةَ، فيُورِي نَاراً، وَيُسْرِجُ، ثُمَّ يُخرجُ أَحَادِيْثَ، فيُعلِّمُ عَلَيْهَا.
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: سَمِعْتُ هَانِئَ بنَ النَّضْر يَقُوْلُ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ يُوْسُفَ -يَعْنِي: الفِرْيَابِيَّ- بِالشَّامِ وَكُنَّا نَتَنَزَّهُ فِعْلَ الشَّبَابِ فِي أَكلِ الفِرْصَادِ وَنَحْوِهِ، وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ مَعَنَا، وَكَانَ لاَ يُزَاحمنَا فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا نَحْنُ فِيْهِ، وَيُكِبُّ عَلَى العِلْمِ
قَالَ العَبَّاسَ الدُّوْرِيَّ : مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَداً يُحْسِنُ طلبَ الحَدِيْثِ مِثْلَ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ، كَانَ لاَ يدعُ أَصْلاً وَلاَ فرعاً إِلاَّ قَلَعَهُ.
جَعْفَر بنَ مُحَمَّدٍ القَطَّانَ إِمَامَ كرمِيْنيَةَ يَقُوْلُ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْل يَقُوْلُ: كَتَبْتُ عَنْ أَلفِ شَيْخٍ وَأَكْثَر، عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُم عَشْرَةُ آلاَفٍ وَأَكْثَر، مَا عِنْدِي حَدِيْثٌ إِلاَّ أَذكُرُ إِسْنَادَهُ.
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُوْلُ: مَا نمتُ البَارِحَةَ حَتَّى عَدَدْتُ كم أَدْخَلْتُ مُصَنَّفَاتِي مِنَ الحَدِيْثِ، فَإِذَا نَحْوُ مئَتَي أَلفِ حَدِيْثٍ مُسْنَدَةٍ.
قَالَ لَهُ بَعْضهُم: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَكَ: لاَ تُحْسِنُ تصلِي، فَكَيْفَ تَجْلِسُ؟
فَقَالَ: لو قِيْلَ لِي شَيْءٌ مِنْ هذَا مَاكُنْت أَقومُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ المَجْلِسِ حَتَّى أَروِي عَشْرَةَ آلاَفِ حَدِيْثٍ، فِي الصَّلاَةِ خَاصَّةً
وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَحْمَدَ القُومسِيُّ، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ خميرويه، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يَقُوْلُ: أَحفَظُ مائَةَ أَلْفِ حَدِيْثٍ صَحِيْحٍ، وَأَحفَظُ مَائَتَي أَلفِ حَدِيْثٍ غَيْرِ صَحِيْحٍ
اتباعه للسنة
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّد: سَمِعْتُ النَّجْمَ بنَ الفُضَيْل يَقُوْلُ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- فِي النَّوْمِ، كَأَنَّهُ يَمْشِي، وَمُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يَمْشِي خَلْفَهُ، فَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- قَدَمَهُ، وضعَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسمَاعيلَ قدَمَهُ فِي المكَانِ الَّذِي رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- قَدَمَهُ.
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُوْلُ: لاَ أَعْلَمُ شَيْئاً يُحتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ فِي الكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ.
ثناء العلماء عليه
قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بنَ جَعْفَرٍ يَقُوْلُ: لَوْ قَدرْتُ أَنْ أَزيدَ فِي عُمُرِ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ مِنْ عُمُرِي لفعلْتُ، فَإِنَّ مَوْتِي يَكُوْنُ مَوْتَ رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَموتُهُ ذهَابُ العِلْمِ.
وقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ يُوْسُفَ يَقُوْلُ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي رَجَاء، هُوَ قُتَيْبَةُ، فسُئِلَ عَنْ طلاَقِ السَّكرَانِ، فَقَالَ: هَذَا أَحْمَدُ بنُ حَنْبَلٍ وَابْنُ المَدِيْنِيِّ وَابْنُ رَاهْوَيْه قَدْ سَاقهُمُ اللهُ إِلَيْكَ، وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ.
وَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ صَالِحَ بنَ مِسْمَارٍ المَرْوَزِيَّ يَقُوْلُ: سَمِعْتُ نُعَيْمَ بنَ حَمَّادٍ يَقُوْلُ: مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ فَقِيْهُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ.
وقَالَ حَاشِدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يَقُوْلُ: سَمِعْتُ إِسْحَاقَ بنَ رَاهْوَيْه يَقُوْلُ: اكتُبُوا عَنْ هَذَا الشَّابِّ -يَعْنِي: البُخَارِيّ- فلو كَانَ فِي زَمَنِ الحَسَنِ لاحْتَاجَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ لمَعْرِفَتِهِ بِالحَدِيْثِ وَفقهِهِ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ: وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يَقُوْلُ: لَمَّا دَخَلْتُ البَصْرَةَ صِرتُ إِلَى مَجْلِسِ بُنْدَارٍ، فَلَمَّا وَقَعَ بصرُهُ عليَّ، قَالَ: مِنْ أَيْنَ الفَتَى؟
قُلْتُ: مِنْ أَهْلِ بُخَارَى.
فَقَالَ لِي: كَيْفَ تركتَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ؟
فَأَمسكتُ، فَقَالُوا لَهُ: يرحمُكَ اللهُ هُوَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَقَامَ، وَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي، وَعَانقَنِي، وَقَالَ: مَرْحَباً بِمَنْ أَفتخِرُ بِهِ مُنْذُ سِنِيْنَ.
قَالَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بنَ أَحْمَدَ بنِ حَنْبَلٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُوْلُ: انْتَهَى الحِفْظُ إِلَى أَرْبَعَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ خُرَاسَان: أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيِّ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ البُخَارِيِّ، وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّمَرْقَنْديِّ، وَالحَسَنِ بنِ شُجَاعٍ البَلْخِيِّ.
وَقَالَ حَاشِدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ: سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بنَ حَنْبَلٍ يَقُوْلُ: لَمْ يجئْنَا مِنْ خُرَاسَانَ مِثْلُ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ.
عبادته
قَالَ الحَاكِمُ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ خَالِدٍ المُطَّوِّعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَبِّحُ بنُ سَعِيْدٍ قَالَ: كَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يختمُ فِي رَمَضَانَ فِي النَّهَارِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَتْمَةً، وَيقومُ بَعْدَ التّروَايحِ كُلَّ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ بخَتْمَةٍ.
قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ الوَرَّاقُ:كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ يُصَلِّي فِي وَقْتِ السَّحَرِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً، وَكَانَ لاَ يُوقظنِي فِي كُلِّ مَا يقوم.
فَقُلْتُ: أَرَاكَ تحمِلُ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ، وَلَمْ توقظْنِي.
قَالَ: أَنْتَ شَابٌّ، وَلاَ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أُفْسِدَ عَلَيْكَ نَومَكَ.
قَالَ غُنْجَارٌ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو أَحْمَدُ بنُ المُقْرِئِ، سَمِعْتُ بَكْرَ بنَ مُنِيْرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ يُصَلِّي ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، فلسعَهُ الزُّنْبُورُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَرَّةً.
فَلَمَّا قضَى الصَّلاَةَ، قَالَ: انْظُرُوا أَيش آذَانِي؟؟؟
وفاته
تُوُفِّيَ البُخَارِيُّ لَيْلَةَ السَّبْتِ، لَيْلَةَ الفِطْرِ، عِنْدَ صَلاَةِ العشَاءِ، وَدُفِنَ يَوْمَ الفِطْرِ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ، سَنَةَ سِتٍّ وَخَمْسِيْنَ وَمائَتَيْنِ، وَعَاشَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسِتِّيْنَ سَنَةً إِلاَّ ثَلاَثَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْماً.
قَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ القدُّوسِ بنَ عَبْدِ الجبَّارِ السَّمَرْقنديَّ يَقُوْلُ: جَاءَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ إِلَى خَرْتَنْك - قَرْيَةٌ عَلَى فَرْسَخيْنِ مِنْ سَمَرْقَنْد - وَكَانَ لَهُ بِهَا أَقربَاء، فَنَزَلَ عِنْدَهُم، فسَمِعْتُهُ لَيْلَةً يدعُو وَقَدْ فرغَ مِنْ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّهُ قَدْ ضَاقَتْ عليَّ الأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ، فَاقبضنِي إِلَيْكَ، فَمَا تمَّ الشَّهْرُ حَتَّى مَاتَ، وَقبرُهُ بِخَرْتَنْك.
وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ مكِّي الجُرْجَانِيُّ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الوَاحِدِ بنَ آدَمَ الطَّواويسِيَّ يَقُوْلُ:
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- فِي النَّوْمِ، وَمَعَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُوَ وَاقفٌ فِي مَوْضِعٍ، فسلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فردَّ عليَّ السَّلاَمَ.
فَقُلْتُ: مَا وُقُوفُكَ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ؟
قَالَ: أَنتَظِرُ مُحَمَّدَ بنَ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ البُخَارِيَّ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ أَيَّامٍ بَلَغَنِي مَوْتَهُ، فَنَظَرتُ، فَإِذَا قَدْ مَاتَ فِي السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- فِيْهَا.

(صَحِيْحُ البُخَارِيِّ) لَوْ أَنْصَفُوهُ * لَمَا خُطَّ إِلاَّ بمَاءِ الذَّهَبْ
هُوَ الفَرْقُ بَيْنَ الهُدَى وَالعمَى * هُوَ السَّدُّ بَيْنَ الفَتَى وَالعَطَبْ
أَسَانِيْدُ مِثْلُ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ * أَمَامَ مُتُوْنٍ كَمِثْلِ الشُّهُبْ
بِهِ قَامَ مِيْزَانُ دِيْنِ الرَّسُوْلِ * وَدَانَ بِهِ العُجْمُ بَعْدَ العَرَبْ
حِجَابٌ مِنَ النَّارِ لاَ شَكَّ فِيْهِ * تَمَيَّزَ بَيْنَ الرِّضَى وَالغَضَبْ
وَسِتْرٌ رَقِيْقٌ إِلَى المُصْطَفَى * وَنصٌّ مُبِيْنٌ لِكَشْفِ الرِّيَبْ
فَيَا عَالِماً أَجْمَعَ العَالِمُوْنَ * عَلَى فَضْلِ رُتْبَتِهِ فِي الرُّتَبْ
سَبَقْتَ الأَئِمَّةَ فِيْمَا جَمَعْتَ * وَفُزْتَ عَلَى رَغْمِهِمْ بِالقَصَبْ
نَفَيْتَ الضَّعِيْفَ مِنَ النَّاقِلِيْنَ * وَمَنْ كَانَ مُتَّهَماً بِالكَذِبْ
وَأَبْرَزْتَ فِي حُسْنِ تَرْتِيْبِهِ * وَتَبْوِيْبِهِ عَجَباً لِلْعَجَبْ
فَأَعطَاكَ مَولاَكَ مَا تَشْتَهِيْهِ * وَأَجْزَلَ حَظَّكَ فِيْمَا وَهَبْ
